Captain’s Log 03.04.2114
With the rebel fleet appearing on the edge of our
sensors we jumped from the sector. The crew wanted to travel next to the safer
civilian sector. But me, in my wisdom, thought it would be better to head into
the uncharted nebula. We would be harder to find in the system damaging gases. Wait,
maybe… no, I’m totally doing the right thing.

Supplemental
I totally did the wrong thing, and the crew know it.
The nebula is a bugger, I have skirted the outlying systems and stayed out of
the nebula as long as possible but we had to enter eventually. When we did we
bumped into a pirate ship that had been crushed between two asteroids.
Apparently they had been mining illegally when they were suddenly caught out.
They were desperate for help so when we stopped laughing we came up with a fool
proof, completely safe idea with absolutely no potential problems. We decided
to shoot the shit out of the asteroids thus dislodging the crushed pirate ship.
This idea wasn’t popular with those trapped within the pirate ship however, but
sod it we were doing it anyway. Surprisingly it worked, and I felt extremely
smug, especially as swamps had thought I would end up killing them all.

The best thing is it seems he and Kara are over too,
and I really think I am in with a chance. The other day we watched a film together
in my quarters and she leant in for a cuddle right from the start. It was
really nice, especially as I got a brilliant sneaky feel of a bit of side boob.
Within the nebula thought the gases are disrupting a
lot of our systems. We are pretty much flying blind at the moment. It will be
amazing if we find anything… wait, hold on. Seems like we have found something,
I’ll be back soon.
