This is the story of the HMS Nutritious as told through the eyes of the Captain as he tries to lead his ship away from the approaching rebel fleet. Aided by his able crew he struggles through the many trials that befall him. He is definitely not Jim Kirk.
This story is based on a play through of FTL. I play FTL a lot but I leave a long time between runs and so never really improve. I have never beaten it and definitely don't expect to in the course of this story. As you will probably read over time. Everything that you read though is based on the events (in the same chronology) that take place within my play through.
FTL seems to inspire stories when I play. It leaves a lot of narrative space between its simple encounters and I can't help but fill it. I'm sorry, but i'm a story teller, I can't help it!
