Why? Why do you do this to me? 66, 75 even 90 percent off. It is too much, I can't help myself. It is only £3 I think; that's nothing really, just one pint I tell myself. Yet it soon becomes two pints, or four pints, or even ten pints. During the Steam Summer Sale I spent £60. I had planned on spending nothing. The other week I bought Company of Heroes, despite owning it on CD. I also have two copies of Civ IV, Sid Meier's Pirates and Brothers in Arms. It needs to stop and now!

| Oh god no, not again... how am I meant to cope with ten days of sales?! |
How can I play all these games? My steam file contains one hundred and ten games. A significant proportion remain unplayed. But there is more; there's my Gamer's Gate account, my Gamestop account, my Origin account. There are the Wargames I bought from Matrix Games and the golden oldies from GOG. As well as the boxes and boxes of games neatly packed away in my loft. All together I own over three hundred games. But apparently that is not enough. They want me to have more, they are forcing me to have more. I don't remember the last time I paid full price for a game because the deals are always so good. But I'm buying games I never thought I wanted, because they are so ridiculously cheap.
I am sinking under a weight of mediocre titles bought for the price of a beer. I am foundering in the great age of sale and so I am pleading for you to stop. Stop the sales before I end up in poverty... wait, no, that's not right. Don't stop, in fact give me more, because during the summer sale I bought ten games, with a combined full price value of over £350. Bigger sales, better games, happy gamers. I am playing games I never would have tried in the past... and loving them. Here's hoping the Age of Sale lasts a long time yet.
