With some trepidation I send my fleet to attack light blue at Matar, Resalas and Unuk (see picture) and hope that my diplomacy has worked. Orange seems positive about a multiple strike on blue as some of his own systems have also been attacked. He even informs me that he had messaged light blue to ask why he had initiated hostilities and received possibly one of the best replies I have ever seen in Neptune’s pride:

| A large fleet is sent into the unknown. |
“How DARE you question the motives of Hallacor, for his might and his power are undeniable! While your empire is vast it is not GREAT as is Hallacor's.
Tremble...Tremble at the sight of the Mighty Armada, it's numbers unrivaled across the galaxy. Destruction is all that awaits you. Prepare for your annihilation.”
From then on I keep a close eye on who owns what system and watch to see if they change hands. It is soon obvious that all three of us have attacked Light Blue simultaneously.
It is a satisfying moment. I was receiving a lot of messages from both orange and pink and I realised that all communications were coming through me. I am the one sharing information between them, as well as techs. It seems that both players trust me and are willing to work with me while wary of each other. Or so I hoped. The beauty of Neptune’s Pride is that you really don’t know what the other players are doing, or thinking. Some are terrible at diplomacy and make their intentions painfully obvious as they fumble with duplicity, but some, well, some are bastards. They are sneaky, vicious and merciless, they are masters at the double cross and you never know which class of player your opponents will be. However the situation does offer me one option, time for a devious plan.
